KUSHIE AMIN

I'm Kushie, a London-based freelance writer and journalist, passionate about the latest issues on women’s health, identity and lifestyle through an intersectional lens. My work features in publications in print and online like Metro, Refinery29,  Cosmopolitan, Glamour and more.

I delve into the intricate lives of women of colour like myself who often haven't had the opportunity to share their stories.

With a degree in History of Art from SOAS, University of London, my focus on global issues and cultures shapes my perspective. Having lived abroad in France and China, I understand the importance of amplifying voices from different backgrounds.

During the day I work as a Communications Officer at the British Science Association. Our focus is to create campaigns and events that aim to make science education more accessible and representative of society.
